POLICIES

I have learned that I do my BEST and FASTEST work when I don’t have a lot of distractions or people talking to me. But, by nature, I love to TALK and I certainly want to talk if people are talking to me or around me. Simply put, please don't think I am rude if I don't talk much to anyone other than the client during the appointment. I'm just focusing on creating a hair and makeup masterpiece. :)

LIMITED SEATING

• The appointment is for the client only. 
• I only offer services for ages 12 and up.  

WHAT TO WEAR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

• The studio is often cold. Bring a sweater or blanket if you think you'll need it. 
• If you are coming for a bridal trial, consider wearing white. 
• If you are getting your hair styled, wear something you can easily remove and not damage the style. Synthetic fabrics, such as polyester and nylon, are more likely to cause static hair compared to natural fabrics like cotton or silk. When the hair comes into contact with these synthetic fabrics, the static electricity generated can transfer to the hair, causing it to become full of static. 

HAIR APPOINTMENT PREP

• Clean, dry hair. If you arrive with wet or extremely dirty hair, additional fees could apply or your appointment could be cancelled due to time constraints. I have products that I like to use and if your hair is super dirty, oily or full of dry shampoo, they will not work. 
• If possible, please wash and blow dry your hair the day before your appointment or before you get a spray tan. 
• If you are prone to have static in your hair, use a leave in conditioner from about the middle of the hair shaft to the ends when you wash your hair before your appointment. 
• If you have clip in extensions, they also must be clean and tangle free. In addition, if the extensions are brand new, please remove them from the packaging and remove any tags ensuring they are ready for install. 

MAKEUP APPOINTMENT PREP

• Please come with a clean, moisturized face with no sunscreen. 
• Do not get your brows waxed (or any facial waxing) the day you are getting your makeup done or too close to your makeup appointment. Foundation has a hard time adhering to or sitting well on the freshly waxed skin. 
• Be careful about applying topical acne treatments too close to the appointment. Topical medications use acids to peel away outer layers of skin. They will leave your skin more sensitive, and foundation can also have a hard time adhering to the skin. 
• In order to maintain a schedule and properly serve clients, cell phone use is NOT permitted during makeup application.
• NO Food or Drinks in the makeup chair.
